Laurasia Engineering Limited recently achieved the transition to ISO9001:2015, providing yet another boost for the Sheffield based Mechanical Engineering Company and its ongoing continuous improvement programme.
ISO 9001:2015 is considered significantly more stringent than its predecessor (ISO 9001:2008) and can only be awarded once an organisation has scored a minimum of 80% in an on-site audit. Laurasia Engineering Limited, which provides full turn-key engineering solutions to a range of industries, passed the audit with flying colours- scoring an impressive 96%.
The accreditation is the latest to be awarded to Laurasia Engineering Limited, which also holds highly specialised certification such as BS EN 15085, ISO 3834-2 and BS EN 1090.
“I’m delighted that we have achieved the transition to the new standard, which was a key objective in our ongoing continuous improvement plan. Quality is at the heart of everything we do and our high-level accreditations are what set us apart from the rest,”
- Laurasia Engineering Limited’s Quality Manager, Jonathan Bentley
